As we all know the work day can be exhausting. It always seems that after you’ve indulged in lunch you feel drained. You can barely keep your eyes open as you gaze at the clock ready for the day to finally be over. After going through the same motions day after day you are probably asking yourself “how can I combat this fatigue?” Snacks can actually help prevent dips in your blood sugar which can be the reason you’re feeling tired. Here are some healthy afternoon snacks that will give you the energy you need to finish the day!
1. Everything Tastes Better with Peanut butter!
When it comes to healthy snacks full of flavor I like to stick to the basics; and who doesn’t love a little peanut butter to give your veggies a little boost of flavor!? Peanut butter may get a bad rep from some but rest assured it has the good fat! It is also packed with vitamins and can help you lose weight by keeping you full longer. So, if you want to prep a healthy afternoon snack before work you can slice up some apples, bananas, frozen mango, celery, carrots, or tomatoes and bring a little container of peanut butter to dip them in. It will give you a little kick to continue your day.

Almonds and walnuts are a perfect snack. Both are packed with fiber, nutrients, vitamin E, and omega-3s.
